A Smarter Way to Order Heating Oil.

BoilerJuice, the UK’s leading heating oil marketplace, has made heating oil ordering easier, cheaper and more convenient since 2004. Their platform lets customers compare prices, place orders, schedule deliveries, and book services such as boiler maintenance and tank replacement.

BoilerJuice needed to upgrade its mobile application to improve the user experience, serve its growing customer base, and match its strategic goals. The existing Connected app needed a complete overhaul of its functionality and interface. BoilerJuice partnered with Arch to build a new mobile application that replaced the old one and put them ahead of competitors as customer needs changed.

Built in Flutter, the app runs on iOS and Android from a single codebase. The backend uses secure API connections to retrieve and send data to BoilerJuice’s internal systems. This structure supports real-time updates, smooth transactions, and growth through future features.

Working with BoilerJuice went smoothly because of the strong collaboration between our teams. With a shared goal of improving the front-end experience, we set up clear communication from the start, which kept the workflow productive.

Confidence, reliability, and open dialogue were key throughout the partnership. The first phase focused on Connected Plan users, and later releases expanded to core and commercial customers. Close collaboration with BoilerJuice’s product manager, designer, and QA team produced a high-quality, user-friendly final product.
